Trails Traveled
Mar 24, 2008
As 2007 is coming to a close, we stop and reflect on all the great opportunities we have had throughout the year. January started out with playing at the Denver Market which has always been a favorite venue for us. Then it was back to Denver for the R-Calf Convention. Then it was off to Nashville for the NCBA Convention and was proud to be able to stay and play at the Opryland Hotel. We took some time to see the sights while there and even took in Ryman Auditorium Grand Ole Opry. Next was a week for me at the Tulare Farm Show for my real job and back to play for a convention at Homestead in Midway, Utah. It was nice to play close to home and take some time to finish up our new CD "Cowboy Legacy". Then in May it was off to Scottsdale, AZ for some fun in the sun...well, I'm not sure I would call playing outside in 105 degrees fun. But we did have a great time and was happy for the experience. Our next adventure took us to a 48,000 acre cattle ranch in Hyannis, NE. WOW, we stayed at the ranch for a week gathering cows and calves, riding, roping, branding and playing music around the campfire. This was the best time of all. We ended the week playing for a conference in North Platte before taking the long trec back home. By this time it as coming up on July and decided it was time to stick around home some. Stayed busy with gigs around Utah such as Antelope Island, American West Heritage Center, the Big Horse Adventure and other private parties. We finished off the year with some great Christmas party venues and then settled down for some time at home with our families and friends. We are already booking up for 2008 and if you are interested in having Coyotee Moon play for your special event, please drop up a line. We'd love to hear from you. Happy Trails!
Thanks to everyone who has contacted us and for playing our music on your stations. We really appreciate the support. Please let me know when you'll be playing it again so I can tune in! Thanks and Happy Trails! Coyotee Moon
