I would often get ciphers and wrote songs to instrumentals of other artists. I started messing with recording around the same time my 12th grade year and was pretty good so I knew I would be engineering my own self. I was focused and after years of growth and development my father and I kept pushing African drumming all throughout the community and nearby areas. In 2007 I did my first hip hop performance at The Airliner Club in North L.A. I performed their about 3 times after that. Following that decent exposure I became a host of the freestyle session at The Hip Hop Café which was a new spot in Hollywood on Sunset and Gower after performing and supporting their cause. That year I got together along with Guru or Seth organizer of The Hip Hop Café a group of individual artists called, “The Brain Freeze Project”. That year 2007 I performed at, The Airliner, The Viper Room, Loyola Marymount College twice, the Inglewood Bar and Grill, Cal State Dominguez Hills Apollo Night, Hip Hop Café every second Friday of every month, The Sharon Theater, The Dragon Fly, The Roxy before Slick Rick, Jungle Boogie at The Dragon Fly and in Echo Park as well. Recently I got a Hosting gig at Earle’z Grille 3630 on Crenshaw a new poetry night my brother got together. Around that time I finished my mix tape with 22 tracks of progression and improvement. I do this for my people and those who are behind bars and minds are not lost, for my ancestors and political prisoners.
