-Tha Phillip Boyz:::: It all started with 2 cousins, one by the name of Garrett Moses, 8 years old, and Duy'reia Phillips, 10 years old, rapping and singing on a tape recorder after the death of their grandfather Roy Phillips (Hence the name Tha Phillip Boyz). They seemed to develop a passion for writing songs and constructing music. But as they worked together, they got into it more and more until they broke up and started beefing for 2 long years.... But then their grandmother died, the one that helped raise them and they decided that she wouldn't want them beefing, rejoining Tha Phillip Boyz... Garrett "Soulja" Moses; being a rapper, singer, producer, song writer, and dancer. Duy'reia "D.A." Phillips; being a rapper, song writer and dancer.
-Dem Capitol Boyz::::: When Tha Phillip Boyz were looking to a recruit a new member for Tha Phillip Boyz, Duy'reia Phillips came across distant cousin Ramon "Mr. Mon" Bynum and brought him over to Garrett's house. As they recorded, D.A. and Soulja got into once again. Breaking up the Phillip Boyz but starting Dem Capitol Boyz with Ramon Bynum... But now both groups are together, Soulja now 16, D.A. now 18, and Mr. Mon now 16, these 3 College Station Arkansas bound cousins aren't going to let anything break them up.
