About SyZmik Beats SyZmik pronounced seismic is the president of Knockaholix Productions and the co-founder of GotKnocks.Com. He is a 29 year old producer who specializes in producing hard knocking instrumentals for the Hip Hop, and R&B genre. With well over ten years of music production under his belt, his emphasis on the quality of his production hasn't changed much. The only thing that seems to change is his production credits. Having worked with hundreds of independent artists such as Mahtie Bush, Foe Loco, Kham Raw, Phantom, Bavgate and Thizz ENT. Syzmik is a highly sought after producer in Northern California. With head nods and approvals from local heavyweights, it landed him an opportunity to produce over three albums for well known and respected artist, J Diggs of Thizz/Atlantic Records. Neck snapping drums, deep mobbing bass lines and memorable melodies is a few elements you can expect from this young Sacramento producer citing his musical influences being producers such as Dr. Dre, Dj Quick, P.Diddy, Timbaland, Kanye West, Dj Premier and J. Dilla you could definitively tell that his ears are trained by the best in the game. With no formal musical training, SyZmik takes pride as a self taught musician. After making his introduction as one of Sacramento's under rated producers, SyZmik steadily widened his production style over the subsequent years encompassing everything from rock to techno and Trance. The combination proved to be quite popular as more and more artists demanded his work. SyZmik continued to retool his sound with each project, however, moving beyond the material that had launched his career and adopting elements of Blues, Soul and Asian music. SyZmik's music production career began early in his High School days, banging on lunch tables and free styling in the cafeteria with his fellow classmate Raymond aka 006. After graduation he was presented with an opportunity by a family friend to move to Oakland California and intern as a studio technician at a recording studio. Seeing how rare and powerful this opportunity was he packed up and left his job, family and girlfriend to pursue his dreams of becoming a successful music producer just like his idol, Sean Combs. 1999, living on his own at age 18 in a city with a faster pace than what he was accustomed to, SyZmik had to adapt to his new environment quickly. Oakland, California is notoriously known for the street violence and drug dealings that can terrify and consume a young adult instantly if not given the proper guidance. Syzmik's passionate and ambitious personality brought him many mentors that guided him and kept him on track of his career goals. One of his mentors was a very successful C.E.O of an independent record label in Oakland. Under his mentor's guidance, SyZmik studied and learned the same independent music game that Cash Money Records and No Limit Records was built upon. Although SyZmik valued his mentor's extensive knowledge on the music business, he felt that his mentor is too old school. The digital age has arrived and consumers are no longer buying CD's. Everything has gone digital and so has the consumers. SyZmik and his mentor parted ways in thereafter, however with SyZmik moving back to his hometown in 2004. With his wealth of knowledge in the music business and his passion for music, SyZmik did not hesitate to form his own production company after moving back from Oakland. As fate would have it, he re-united with his High School classmate and longtime friend Raymond and they formed Knockaholix Productions. SyZmik and Raymond aka 006 recorded music night and day in SyZmik's 2 bedroom apartment for months before packaging and releasing their first project together titled "Knockalations". The duo utilized a guerilla marketing tactic to promote the project. They performed at local bars for free, passed out thousands of copies for free and even gave away t shirts for free. The Knockaholix buzz became a frenzy. L
