If your interested more in the mastering prrocess and what it does for your music here is a little synopsis. Mastering is the process of taking a recording and enhancing it to its fullest potential. This not only makes each song from an album sound individually the best it can, but also makes the album as a whole sound unified. Send me your audio for mastering, your tracks will be listened to in my acoustically treated studio. After I get an overall impression of the existing sound balance, your project is then mastered using an appropriate chain of top drawer analog and digital equipment. Below are a few tools that I use in the mastering process: Noise Reduction Equalization Compression Mastering Reverb Peak Limiting Stereo Widening Bass Enhancement Maximization Fades/Crossfades Harmonics Exitation After mastering, your songs will not only be consistent with each other, but they will be as high in volume level as possible while preserving their proper dynamic structure. Mastering adds punch and clarity to your sound. At the same time, mastering removes unwanted frequencies and noise that can reduce the overall quality of your music. Along with mastering new productions I am also getting into Audio restoration of older tracks from tape and vinyl recordings. Do you have old band tapes that you are scared to play because they are on cassette? And not many plays left? Well I can enhance the audio and record it to digital in a pristene state.
