Years before the emergence of a soon to be musically gifted, spirited and talented artist. Destiny was beginning to unravel and lay out the foundations of an unforseen, promising future... in which at the time was unimaginable... Even before Cesar Cortes Jr. inhaled his first lung-full of air, music was already running malevolenlty through his nerves.. Descending from families with musical & poetic backgrounds Ceze already had the foundations of a musical artist. The only ingredient left in this recipe is life. The experiences that would shape him into such a spirited and distinct individual. Cesar was born on the early morning of January 25, 1985 in Vineland, New Jersey. A city highly populated with a variety of hispanics, mainly with Puerto Rican descent. Vineland is a city full of hispanic heritage & culture with its Puerto Rican festivals, parties and parrandas. This was much of what Ceze came to witness in his early years. By 1 1/2 the toddler was beginning to catch on to songs heard from Univision and Telemundo. He was singing merengue and salsa songs at the age of 3 and even had his first interview recorded on tape. When it came time for elementary school Cesar was the lead singer in his school choir even singing the national anthem for the school’s independence day ceremonies. The next 4 years of his life would mainly be spent on piano & vocal lessons, singing at school, in church and with his father during performances on stage with his merengue/salsa group, “Proyect
