Born in Scotland. A baker to trade I lived in Canada for many years as baker in residence at a Seminary in Ontario, as teacher and house- parent in the mountains of BC then with my own bakery / tea room business: the Argenta Scottish Bakery. My marriage broke up in 1978 and I got complete care and custody of my 5 daughters and returned to Scotland to be near my family for their support. I then became a full time Dad / Mum not only to my own girls but as a community carer with the Social Work Dept. While there I got a BA in music with the Open University and a B Sc in psychology. As 3 of my older daughters moved back to Canada after I retired in 2002 I moved back too to stay near my adopted native daughter and her daughters in Port Alberni BC. However as I got older and my health wasn't so good I sold up my home and moved back to Scotland my native country although this is not listed in the countries and therefore I had to list it as the united kingdom notwithstanding I think of it as the untied kink dumb and hope to eventually see Scotland as a fully independant republic.
