I wasn't born a songwriter but my creative efforts at an early age set the stage for a life long journey. I'm sure my first breath of air, my first sound and my first step was set to a rhythm pattern all on its own. Those first words to a song was probably written in crayon when I was a child. At the age of 11, I started writing lyrics and soon developed a passion for a wide variety of genres.
As the years rolled by my musical palette of influences grew and today they range from A-Z in all genres of Rock, Pop, R&B, Country and even dating back to the Classical works of the 1800s. I enjoy making music and creating songs with anything that makes a pleasant sound. My goal at one point in life was to be a staff writer. So, I studied the art of songwriting and applied what I learned through those studies. The end result, you're only as good as the last song you wrote. I have to remind myself sometimes to get back to the basics and apply that K.I.S.S. theory.
