The first rays of The 3rinity's formation came in 2002 when drummer Ryan O'Conner, bassist Sean Anderson and lead vocalist Naweed Kawusi performed as a one-night show at the Lake Tahoe's Annual Faire. The reception that they received from over four thousand people participating in the Faire, made the trio think twice over what they had done. Those were the first moments that the future could be seen and they acted on the reception they had received. Naming the band The 3rinity came simply because they were three and the three of them were the ones who laid the foundations of the band that would go on for the years to come. Their first few performances were aimed only at the Lake Tahoe Faire which took place annually. However in early 2005, the band went on a tour of Chicago, Denver, and San Antonio receiving much acclaim and reception from the residents of those cities and that was what made the band even more stronger and dedicated to their future goals. The team started working on their first album in early 2006, with the initial naming of "Tear Me Apart" being the first choice, however in March of 2007, the death of band's drummer Ryan O'Conner in a car accident left the remaining two members devastated and the title of the album was changed to "Falling Angel" in a tribute to their fallen friend. The album is due to release in California in July 2007 being promoted by Kid Anterim Music based in New York City.
