I've reached that stage in my life when I don't have to kow tow to anyone, the troubles I get are self-made, but not insurmountable...and I'm on the planet to be & do good. Pretty simple stuffs really :)
BTW, don't bother engaging me into a discussion about what's on TV...I do not watch the government-sponsored-mind-control device which has destroyed a human caring society & turned everyone into a selfish mindless robotic consumer.
Ask yourself this...if TV (and by association "The News") wasn't run by the government, would we, perhaps, see reports about the 2 wars (yes two, boys & girls, we're still in Afghanistan!) that has been sucking this country dry for years?
Tag me a very dissatisfied, overly taxed, quite angry, too broke to do anything but tread water,American veteran. 'Nuff said?
