Wordplay is one of the most prolifically sound artist that New York has to offer, Grow up in far rockaway, home of artist like Stackbundles, Wordplay had talent that no one could ignore, he decided to get money a another way, and fell back on his other talent, mainly because while everyone stood bye and the watch the state of hip hop crumble wordplay decided that he would be the one to eventually put a change to that, he is not only repping Far Rockaway not only Queens, but the whole New York, he believes he can bring new York back to the State it once was, his name is the meaning of hip hop, and what you should have in order to be an artist, wordplay started out just battling every chance he got and bye doing so he gained respect for is uniqe flow. wordplay made is first appearance on a DVD in 2000 battling a hood rival, he later drop Best In The Streets Vol.1 Mixtape with local hood legends, followed by Vol.2, he then realized that he needed to reach a larger audience.
