ONE 90 GRAIN
“SOUTHERN PROGRESSIVE METAL”
The band was formed in 2005 by four friends that have played in various other upstate bands over the years, but never with this particular group of musicians. All of the guys in the band come from different musical backgrounds and influences that have created their unique sound and style. Individually, their talents have taken them from their hometown of Spartanburg, S.C. to New York, N.Y and to Nashville, TN. They have also toured several countries in Europe. In fact if you’re ever in Europe you can listen to ONE 90 GRAIN on ARfm’s satellite radio broadcast. Three of the bands original songs (Hard Lesson Learned, Sidewinder and The Smokin’ Gun, and a live recording of Ride) have found their way onto the station’s weekly programmes, Paul Chamberlain’s Saturday Soccer Solution’s Songs from the South feature, plus the monthly Redneck Review. On December 30th Sidewinder and The Smokin’ Gun was featured in the southern rock section of the Pre-Auld Lang Syne Solutions Best of 2006 Show. “This year ONE 90 GRAIN proved that Spartanburg, S.C wouldn’t be remembered just for The Marshall Tucker Band” Paul Chamberlain, Rock and Metal Radio Host ARfm London, U.K. ARfm also broadcasts live 24/7 on the internet @ www.arfm.co.uk.
