My real name is TEK CORTEZ, I currently play bass for SLIDEBACK, an unsigned pop rock band.
I've only started to play bass last 2007, and was originally playing guitar for the same group until we had to change members.
I listen to a lot of types of music, but I mainly play blues guitar when I am not playing with my band.
Now that I’m primarily playing bass, I’m trying to expose myself to different genres like soul and funk.
And because the people I play with right now are not into blues and old school rock type music, that’s primarily the reason why I record the stuff you hear on my music page.
All the instruments you hear in my music page (bass, drums, guitar, and unfortunately even some of the vocals) were all recorded by me at home.
