Concerts are still the occasional option, although usually I'm recording more frequently for soundtracks or composing for choreographers. Recent gigs have included a fundraiser in the spring as well as a small house concert - the most important singing has been picking up the Appalachian and church gospel sounds of my youth, as well as the more intense old ballads from the Irish, English and Scottish traditions as once encouraged by my old friend Helen Schneyer.
