I ama Singer/ Songwriter, Guitarist, Mixing Engineer. I am always busy with anything music related. From Writing and Mixing for TV ads and film to mixing and or remixing for artists. I have been upgrading my studio gear and slowly building a nice mic locker. I am a guitarist as my first passion.
Recently for the first time in my life, I have been experimenting with modelers, particularly the plug in Eleven in my Protools DAW. Of course, modelers are still not the quality or replacement for a real nice amp, pedals etc... but it is fun and still very useful for track layering.
Tone chasing has been an expensive passion over the last 8 years or so, but I think I found out everything I needed to know. It never ends.... :D
