Relentlezz began writing and laying his rhymes in 1998. Upon perfecting his skillset, Relentlezz Dre recorded his first studio track 2001 at Horizon Studios in Maryland. From there, Relentlezz would set out on his own and linked up with City Vibe Recordings in late 2001 and 2002. To promote himself, Relentlezz would press up and distribute more than 500 singles in MD & DC for promotional reasons to little avail. In the summer of 2002, he collaborated with De’Aticus (Uprize Entertainment) on a track called “Every Uprise, There’s A Downfall” (still unreleased). Due to creative differences, Relentlezz decided to split from City Vibe Recordings and searched for a new home. He then linked up with Skinny Corleone and 48th/49th Records and signed a recording agreement. Relentlezz released his debut album in August 2005 entitled "The Rel One" which sold 3,000 copies with online promotion only. Relentlezz also shot his first video for the lead single titled "4 Ever" (King of Maryland) which garnered substantial airplay on BET Uncut. After a break Relentlezz returns in 2007 with the mixtape "Yeah Im Relentlezz Vol.1" which several thousand units were pushed. Then Relentlezz returns with the 2008 mixtape "Yeah Im Relentlezz Vol.2". Where the growth in lyrics are clearly heard. Then Relentlezz releases most likely his best mixtape project release "Yeah Im Relentlezz Vol.3" in 2010
