Jeffrey Botson, also known by his stage name "Jeffy Obvious", is an mc with roots planted firmly in the soils of the 805 (Piru, CA). Growing up 30 minutes outside of Los Angeles & an hour outside of Santa Barbara, Jeffy was surrounded by a big Hip Hop community when coming up & caught on to the art of "the cypher" at a young age. Greatly influenced by 90's era boom bap & the culture it carries under it's wing, he brings you that classic vintage sound & music with a purpose today. In early 2012, Jeffy founded 8th of Dope Media, a team of artists focused on pushing each others talents to whole new extremes. Having received his fair share of recognition and respect in the local scene, Eighty D was welcomed by artists & promoters on a larger scale then ever imagined.
