Tiavon is from a small town in Japan, but raised in the big city of New Orleans. She has a style that's quite different from other rappers in America. One being multilingual. She speaks Japanese, Spanish and English (all well enough to get her around those countries if need be and according to American University standards: fluent). Her dream is to learn one more language before kicking the bucket. Being raised in different places all over the world opened her eyes and ears to different styles of music hearing and loving everything from taiko (Japanese drums) to the acoustic guitar. Her family, for the most part, is of musical background. Her father sings and raps along with playing many instruments to include piano, clarinet, and trumpet. Her mother break danced, played trumpet, and snare drums while in school. Tiavon is also well diverse in musical instruments such as playing the ukelele, clarinet, snare drums, keyboard and learning to play the guitar and taiko drums. A little about Tiavon: she currently is in college (that's right, education comes first baby! lol) at one of the greatest universities in the states (LSU). Currently a junior majoring in Disaster Science and Management. This is for all the people who suffered from Katrina, Rita, Gustav (including herself) and for everyone else who suffered tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, terrorism, every natural and manmade disaster on the face of this planet.
