I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. My mother was from Tennessee and I grew up listening to the old classics, Dolly, Tammy, Loretta, George and Conway. From the beginning I have loved the written word. I guess that is why I can only write lyrics. I am musically challenged, although I do put a melody in my songs. I just have to depend on the kindness of strangers. All I have ever wanted to do is to write songs and be able to make money doing it. Someday I will get there.
