Just like the classic 2 man HipHip groups before them such as EPMD,Smith & Wesson ,MOP & Mobb Deep, Dirty Hartz are focused on hitting the game like a Jeff Lacy left hook , and leave a stain in the game like grape juice on a white linen jacket. Unlike most artist these 2 brooklyn native's are not tring to be whats hot right know, but what stay's hot. Going 8X platnuim is not the main focus Rage One & Dinny Bananaz have coming in to this art we call rap "Me and Sun are looking for longevity not just eating now but to stay eatng and have our kids stay eating" say's Dinny "We looking in to the future,the Hartz are not trying to make hits we tring to make classic's, theres a difference".!!!
Dinny and Rage go back since grade school . knowing each other 85% of there life. Both growing up in Crown Heights Brooklyn ( Rage from ST. Johns Dinny from Lincoln ) they always were around the same people. Besides being raised buy the streets they both also had a love for rap music in common , " Rage was in a group with heads from around the way and I was dealing with my peoples in Bushwick and Marcy " said Dinny " We came together wile we was codefendants on a case in 95 , after we both came home from up top in 97 we formed Dirty Hartz" ."The deference between Dirty Hartz and most other Groups is just that , there a group" said Rage " Me and Sun is fam , thats my brother right there, we ain't just decide to come together just make a group, Dirty Hartz
