Tyler "TIGGZ" Brown grew up in Brampton, Ontario. He started with keystyle battling at thirteen before participating in battles hosted by Organik at King of the Dot and Beastmode. After that, he went on to perform at such notable venues as The Opera House, The Phoenix Concert Theatre, Club XS -- opening for such acts as Jadakiss, Waka Flaka, Joel Ortiz, as well as Canadian artists like Choclair, and Swollen Members at Canadian Music Week with Halifax's Spesh K. His early releases include the Barack Uh Da Dot series (2008+). He later moved onto more socially-conscious work with the release of Artistry: The Pre-Tape (2011). After parting ways with several management situations, and a period of prolonged effort, he released Artistry: The Mixtape (2014) through Souled Out Ent. Tiggz's austere east-coast flow, mid-90’s beat selection, and impressionistic lyrics set him apart from his competition in Canada, and led to work with more American artists such as Chozen Few. He is constantly reinventing, and is looking to expand his brand by touring internationally in the future
