Marilou launches her first single at the beautiful and prestigious Shangri La Xi Shi Lounge in Downtown Vancouver; A venue internationally known for its elite VIP parties and celebratory status. She launches her single at the end of August 2014. Titled, "Dear Summer", Marilou considers her intro track a soft, smooth outro to a 'perfectly perfect' summer.
Simply kind, grounded and wise beyond words, Marilou is a beautiful person. Her music is a unique, blend that may possibly redefine modern R&B today. She writes her songs with subtle messages of her own emotions and her tone is distinctive and beautiful.
Marilou is currently unsigned and in the studio independently, writing, recording and executive-producing her first album. She is a natural go-getter, a personable and confident woman; socially strong in both the Vancouver and Toronto music scene and a rare songstress Vancouver is proud to call their own before she takes off.
