RCV tha MC has been in the Vancouver Hip-Hop scene for seven years now. Growing up, Hip-Hop music has always been around him. At the age of six his dad brought home the first rap album he recalls listening to, Warren G's "Regulate". From then on he was hooked, growing up on guys like Bone Thugs -n- Harmony, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., the Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, DMX, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and Mobb Deep. At the age of twelve, he wrote his first rhymes in the form of poetry for his English class, and eventually they would turn into raps. Over the years RCV has seen and expierenced many things in his young life, growing up in East Vancouver taught him how to be a man. From his Grandmother passing away, to becoming a Christian, to being a Project Garage 05' finalist, performing in front of a crowd of three hundred, and many other events that has shaped him into what he is today.
