I was born in 1956 in Warsaw, Poland. I began playing the piano in the first grade, and studied with Ms Nela Gniazdowska in Warsaw. That time I was under strong influence of Chopin music and its remarkable performers as Edward Auer and Maurizio Pollini. I grew up by Polish folk music. Later, influenced by Motown and Holland/Dozier/Holland songs I started songwriting professionally. In the next couple of years I discovered modern jazz music as the style I was born to. My first commercial recordings was made in 1985 for the Polish state owned record company. My first arrangements of pop songs were recorded in 1986 for Polish Radio. Since 1987 I produced soundtracks to dozens documentary and feature films for Polish TV. My original music has been used worldwide as a background music. I also produce music for advertising campaigns nationwide. My music appears on over 50 CD's commercially released and distributed. At present I do mainly instrumental music for television, as well as meditation music which I distribute and license on my own and through Universal Publishing Production Music (UPPM) - worldwide.
