Tom is from Sydney, Nova Scotia where he plays locally with a variety of cover bands including Maritime Band "The Mizzen Men". Tom just released his debut CD "Folk Songs & Sea Shanty's" with The Mizzen Men. The album features one song in particular he wrote about Sydney Steel called "Steel Winds" as well as another crowd favorite "That Maritime Song". One song of note is an instrumental piece named "Back Steppin" dedicated to the late great God Father of Celtic Music - John Allen Cameron. The last couple years Tom has travelled playing such places as the Kemptshore Maritime Acoustic Festival in Nova Scotia with PEI singer/songwriter Wayne Burke, The Savoy Theatre and the 2005 ECMA’s with local recording artist Mike MacInnis, as well as Radio ECMA at last year’s ECMA’s 2006 held in PEI. His latest performance includes Stanfest 2006 and a boat tour and street party at the CCMA's in St John, NB with Maritime Band - The Mizzen Men. Catch Tom on tour somewhere on the Maritime folk festival circuit this summer 2007 including the Montague Harbourside festival in PEI July7th and the Mira Road Festival in Cape Breton backing up Matt Minglewood.
