Tee Jay started producing beats at the age of eight years old. Just started by watching his uncle, as he and his friends playing around. Growing in love with the music, his uncle dell later got him a keyboard, and Tee Jay practiced. So he started to learn the songs that were on the radio at the time. He wanted to record his own songs, so his uncle bought him a new keyboard that he can record with. Not haveing much, but a keyboard and a tape player, he started to make his songs. Showin his family the songs, they saw real potential in him. Entering middle school, he got introduced to MIDI, where his band teacher taught him how to use it. He never knew that you could sync a keyboard and computer together. As years progressed he became better and better, taught himself how to play chords. As he entered high school, he made a name for himself, by always playing the piano in the band room. He then later got a computer for himself. Later on a friend introduced him to Fl Studio. At first he didn't know how to work it, and was confused about it, then he got used to it. During his junior year he and producer partner Turtle produced a song for Perfek'tion called Ladies Anthem. That was the first song he produced, and was excited to finally hear one of his songs make it. Everyone liked that track so much, that Perfek'tion asked him to produce more tracks for them. These tracks went on their upcoming album "The Journey", where Tee Jay produced 10 of the 11 tracks on the cd.
