Greetings to One and All ! I hope you had a nice Easter break ? We certainly did (here in the UK) especially with the “wedding of the decade” that took place right on our doorstep on the 29th April ! It certainly cheered up the whole of the British nation for a day or two ! Yes indeed, and I believe that millions of folks all around the World also eagerly tuned in to watch the 'Royal Wedding' of Katherine and William on their TV sets. If you did, wasn't it a fabulous day ! If you didn't, then you missed an amazing spectacle - OK yes, I know that weddings are not everyone's “cup of tea” ! Anyway, not long after the Royal Wedding we got to thinking about Weddings in general, and it was then that I remembered that we do have a wedding song that I'd recorded quite some time ago dedicated to all those Lovers who decide to get married – It's called 'The Bridegroom Song' ... So then I thought "Well OK, Spring is here and it will be Summertime soon, so why don't we re-dedicate this song to ALL those folks wherever they may be, who are going to 'tie the knot' over the next few weeks and months ?" Certainly Spring and especially the Summer season is a natural choice for many who are probably even now preparing with friends and family for their 'Big Day' ! Yes, I know that maybe some of us would “run a mile” from this kind of commitment, and yet at the same time, you may already have been invited as a guest to a wedding over the next few weeks or months, or maybe you know someone who has. The invitation may have come from say a good friend, a family member or a work colleague. Some of us may even be involved in the planning of a wedding this year, and maybe just a few of us are soon to become a Bride or a Bridegroom ! (?) ... OK, well this is where our 'Summer 2011 Treasure Hunt' comes in - Basically it's a hunt for a short answer that can be found somewhere on our web site at www.butterfly-island.com . The correct answer will release 'The Bridegroom Song' to everyone who finds it. You see we're going to give away a special 2011 re-mastered edition of this song as a FREE MP3 download along with a downloadable lyrics sheet (made up as a sort of colourful wedding invitation) to however many people can give the correct answer to the question I'm about to set (see below).
