I grew up in Escatawpa, MS until the age of 12, when my family moved to Hurley, MS until I graduated from high school. After high school I traveled a good bit, moving to Murfreesboro, TN to study the recording industry, then Biloxi, Hattiesburg, New Orleans, Jackson, and Mobile, AL. In Mobile I finished my undergrad in Creative Writing, then moved to Gautier to work in marketing. After around 9 months, I felt I was traveling the wrong path, so I re-enrolled in the Master's program to have the ability to teach English and Creative Writing at least on the junior college level, while expanding my writing through study and application. School is expensive, but I feel the investment has been worth it. I now write music, poetry, and fiction somewhat confidently, intertwining all into multimedia forms. While I'm not obsessed with any kind of fame or fortune, I feel that I may finally be on the path to becoming the best artist I can possibly be, and that is all I've ever wanted.
