The name R.E.D. is an acronym, abbreviating the phrase, Rappin-Every-Day. The surname 44, symbolizes two lowercase “h” characters, inverted vertically (hh), as an acronym, abbreviating "Hip Hop!" In 2007, R.E.D. received 20,000+ votes, through MySpace, to allow him to be a part of Sony Music’s ‘Stomp The Yard’ soundtrack. His original track “Bounce Wit Me” was included, and is currently one of the most downloaded songs on the album. R.E.D. has performed at major events across the Midwest, opening for major-label musical acts such as 112, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and America’s best battle DJ, DJ Rectangle. He has also received regional press in print and radio spins from numerous urban stations throughout the nation. With over 10 years of musical experience, R.E.D. has carved out an original personality that is displayed through his music.
