Eclyptix has been reviewed as "a darker poetic style". The music is progressive, experimental, with lots of effects and distortion. Eclyptix is like a mish-mash of classic rock, alternative rock, new wave, electronica, and metal fuzed together like "white on rice". Twisting and turning experimental guitar parts, drum corps driven off timing drum beats, and the angst poetics of Rocky Pruden will have your head bouncing to the beat and wanting to "start a revolution".
