CAIGED ANGEL was formed by Steve and Angel Fuller in 1999 and began as an acoustic act. In 2000, the “band” was formed and performed strictly blues music. By 2002, the band moved into its own versatile style by incorporating the many musical influences of their years of experience to form the seasoned band that takes the stage today. Many may ask how the band came up with their unique name, and the answer to that question is simply this: CAIGED ANGEL was created from Steve and Angel’s names. “Caige” is Steve’s nickname and “Angel” is simply, Angel. The name was born and has followed throughout the 11 year life of the band.
Steve (Caige) Fuller burns up the lead guitar and leaves it smokin’ with his hot licks and impressive runs and solos. His vocals range from rock to heavy metal with a splash of country, and he can bring it down to a slow groove for a love song duet with Angel. Steve’s biggest influences are KISS, Merle Haggard, Collective Soul, and a whole slew of talented lead guitarists that he has gained a lot of respect for over the years.
Angela (Angel) Fuller is “the little woman with the thunderous voice.” Angel can belt out the blues, sing a soft and pretty ballad, and then kick it on some hard rock. Although she’s been compared to Janis Joplin, Pat Benetar, Ann Wilson, and even guy rockers, Angel has a unique vocal signature all her own!
Johnny “Kad” Lester provides the bass thump that hits the lows just right, and he knows how to “get funky with it” too! He’s an amazing talent with loads of musical influences that help to add the “umph” to the bottom end of the music.
Greg Honaker kicks it on the drums with the beats that pull it all together. Influenced by the 80’s “hair” bands, and his no. 1 band KISS, he plays with the zeal and enthusiasm needed to keep the music and the audience moving. Watch for his stick twirls and throws, he’s awesome!
Sammy Goodman is back! After beginning with CA as a bass player in 2004, Sammy is back as CA’s new rhythm and lead guitarist. To make his return even sweeter, Sammy has developed his vocal talents and will lend a new and fresh sound to CA’s music. Be prepared to be dazzled - don’t let the calm exterior fool you, he’s quite the talent this one is!
Charlie “CC” Clevenger is the newest addition to CA’s line up. CC has 15 years of experience as a vocalist which includes auditioning for American Idol and America’s Got Talent. Musical influences include Steve Perry, Paul Stanley, Ronnie Vansant, and Paul Rogers. CA fans will enjoy the extra pizzazz CC adds to mix.
CAIGED ANGEL has performed extensively throughout the region and beyond. CA has also been the featured entertainment during the midday television shows of WCYB TV, WJHL TV, and WKPT TV.
