Philippe CAMINADE is born in 1980 in Versailles, and will pass is early youth in Germany before arriving at Strasbourg aged 7. He discovers electronic music by listening at Kraftwerk and Jean Michal Jarre and in 95 a real passion for dance music by listening a hardcore compilation. The simple and rough sides of that kind of music didn’t let him unaffected at all.
Also very quick attracted by German and British techno music. As the days go by he purchased a pair of turntables and passes the major part of his time by learning the djing technique.
He then met the guys from the Platinum association like Johan Coal and Djos’s Davis and actively take part at all association’s projects. It’s for him good opportunity to be on stage on quiet a lot of local’s scenes. Multiple passages at the Laiterie but also in some other Clubs, radios and bars in the Strasbourg’s area. Little by little his choice goes into direction of more melancholic music, inspired by Detroit electronic influence (Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Underground Resistance and many others).
Found of informatics, that passion brings him to get his first machines in order to give more sense to his ravenous inspiration by making his own music. His performance are the scale what he likes, large mixing of different musical cultures, marrying African groove and emotional bewitching melodies.
