Los Angeles based producer Jason Donnelly (Dj Puzzle) is practically a household name in the loop business. His sounds are found bundled with several DAW packages and Kontakt instruments as well as a handful iOS music making apps. He got his start in 1998 when he worked at Sonic Foundry editing the Loops For Acid Pro product line and started his own loop company in 2001 called Peace Love Productions. Donnelly sold PLP in 2008 and joined forces with Matthew Yost (Dj Montra) to form Soundtrack Loops. Donnelly produced hundreds of sample packs since his humble beginnings and slowly transitioned into the world of production music for TV and video games. His songs appear in several hundred different tv shows including Emmy winning Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown, Growing Up Hip Hop, Catfish, Comedy Bang Bang, Portlandia, Saturday Night Live, and Master Of None to name a few. His song "Close Encounters" from the video game Tom Clancy's The Division was a huge hit with gamers.
