Family, the streets, the neighborhoods, the people and the vibe around Boston and it's skirts have all contributed to the talent produced by R&B/Soul lyricist, Genevieve. After years of building anticipation within a fan base around her hometown, the rest of New England, and beyond, Genevieve's vocal style laces everyone's ear canals with a breath of fresh air. From touring, allowing her melody to spread across the country, to tearing up local mics, collaborating with several local emcees (inclu: M-Dot [EMS], O-Ry-N [UFCo], and Green Street [Green Street Records]), the Bean has a strong representative to show the rest of the world that this city is about more than just tea parties and the misuse of vowels and consonants.
With Genevieve's lyrical skill and hypnotic vocals, her currently available 9-track EP, The Sunrise, is starting the buzz while the talented songstress gets ready to set a new standard in the music industry. A full length album in the works with executive production by Lite Skin, who is also a talented emcee, Where iT All Began is drawing a line to cross and bringing this music scene back around to where it needs to be to keep moving forward.
