Camp Abby emerged out of the ashes of absolutely nothing. Founder of CA, TK, released his solo project Lost Minority early summer 2003. The album was totally crap but behind the shitty and extremely boring production you could get a glimpse of some hidden treasures. The musicians who joined TK on stage at the release party decided to play together and form and shape these treasures into gold. The moulding started. After some beers, fist fights and other obscure activities that is natural for a camp they decided to call the band Camp Abby. The Camp Abby project has been a slow, very slow process. From the early beginning in 2003 and until 2005 they just did two shows. Summer 2005 they released their first recording called Songs from a caravan and it was like a kick start to the band. They went online with the music and soon they were invited to do some shows in Los Angeles. In August 2006 they headed toward the land of false hope and broken dreams. They got the chance to play at the world famous Viper Room and also got the chance to jam with Dizzy Reed of Guns n’ Roses. Camp Abby are now working on their debut and its gone be Lack Of Suck!! Camp Abby promise you the worlds greatest camping rock.
They are inspired by different artists and the audience is guaranteed a blast from the stage. Robert, the bands drummer explains: `Our music is a mix of pop, rock, and punk. We are just trying to make people happy. It is energy and madness, suitable for jumping and beer drinking.
