Baritone “Jun Ayran” known by many, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music in Music Education major in voice under the tutelage of Prof. Irma P.E. Potenciano. He was a member of the award winning UST Coro Tomasino from 1994 - 1998, the Asian Youth Choir (first batch 1998) and the Philippine Chamber Choir in 2000. As a growing musician, he is a member of the Philippine Society for Music Education, Vocal Ensemble Philippines, Kodaly Society of the Philippines, and Asian Youth Choir. He was the music teacher and music director of St. Mary's College of Quezon City from 1998 to 2004. He had been to Japan, China, Thailand, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, France and Canada for choral affiliations and performances. He is a member of the Philippine Choral Directors Association (PCDA). As a Magister in choral directing, he earned his Master of Arts Degree in Choral Conducting at the University of Santo Tomas. He studied choral conducting under the tutelage of Prof. Ricardo Mazo and Fr. Leonilo Mangusad. He attended choral master classes and workshops of Piero Gamba, Nobuaki Tanaka, Jay Joon Lee, Eugene Castillo, Joel Navaro, Jonathan Velasco and other famous choral conductors locally and abroad. At present, he is a faculty member of CEU Conservatory of Music. He is the conductor of the Mapua Concert Singers, Malayan Colleges Laguna Chamber Choir and San Pascual Baylon Chamber Singers.
