The Ghost Writers is a rap ensemble from Chicago, Illinois, that consists of Rapper Zack Wicks, Executive Producer Tyler Cohen, and Producer Carter Lang. They are currently signed to Black Mushroom Records.
Zack Wicks of The Ghost Writers' (www.theghostwriters.net) Debut album: "Not Your Average Rapper," will drop December 11th, 2008. It will have production by C. Lang & Smokey Chuck, as well as apperances by Chicago Idol winner, Aaron Isaiah & other Black Mushroom label-mates. The album will be available on iTunes for $9.99. When it becomes available... Go cop it. Meanwhile, Zack, has just finished up his EP: We Run Chicago & Mixtape: The Prequel, both of which are now available.
The Ghost Writers began their reign as Hip hop deviants in 2006. Zack Wicks dropped his debut mix-tape, The Prequel, in the fall of 2007, and the We Run Chicago EP shortly after. Later that year, Iceface Da Goblin joined the team. 2008 brought North-side rapper, White Ryno, into the mix. Halfway through 2008, Iceface released his debut mix-tape, Lead by Example. In preparation for The "Not Your Average Rapper" Album, Zack Wicks released his RIPJDEPB4CD EP.
