Moïse is a Hip Hop music producer and rap artist born and raised in
Senegal, West Africa. He grew up in a middle class family and had been
shared between two cultures. Even though he's born in Senegal, his roots
are from Cote D'Ivoire. Thus, different musical influences quickly became part
of his life. He litteraly fell in love with Hip Hop in the early 90's, with the
apparition of breakdance in Senegal. It was hard to have Hip Hop videos at that
time because American TV shows were not broadcasted yet. Rap music came right
after, and Moïse started doing it when he was 12. More interested in beats,
he seriously started it reaching his 19s. Now he is the official beatmaker of
ILEGALSEN, a crew he met in high shool and that is getting its feet wet.He produced
several club bangers for ILEGALSEN that are getting airplay nationwide like
the smash hit single "Thiat Ba Thiat (remix)". He also produced for veteran senegalese
rapper MATADOR and is now involved in the upcoming album of FARAFINA MOUSSO, with a pioneer
of senegalese beatmaking: AMA DIOP.
