STEVEN BANKS=(RAPPER,PRODUCER,POET,SONGWRITER,AND B-BOY)XdashRATED a.k.a. $tevenBling started off pursuing a career as a Dj in Newark,N.J. in 1995 at the age of 10 where he also picked up the street style dancing called B-Boying or breakdancing to some.He then moved on to become a rapper in 1998.Striving to become the best,he constantly battled unsigned and local people from North Jersey to Camdem,N.J. then moving on to N.Y. but it wasn't until returning back to New Jersey where he finally earned his name XdashRATED(X-RATED) for his exsplicit lyrics and hard hitting punchlines. But even with great talent it was hard getting a deal and even harder getting beats/tracks due to the high prices, so he decides to make his own music. Being that X has a musical backround in music theory,music science, and music composition, he begins his path in the Music Production industry; starting off with the playstation program MTV Music Generator he creates magic and from here he was given the name $tevenBling the beatmaker for his creativity with blending sample elements with pure instrumentation;but it still wasn't good enough for him, he wanted better sounds and better quality drums. Shortly after being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps and then moving to Richmond,VA Bling began linking up with Icebeazy (a long time friend from Patterson,NJ) where he then began to upgrade his sound library and co-create the production group Ice~n~Bling Productions....now he is using programs such as cakewalk,Fl Studio,Reason,Nuendo,and hardware such as the MPC 1000 and 2000 ....now his music is industry ready and available for the world......Athough he may be Producing he is still on the verge of releasing hi albums.. Ladies 1st and the duo album BROTHERLY THUGZ with his brother STREETS coming soon.....be on the lookout... Im a keep going down that road till I reach my goal, it's a long journey but Im a get there.AND IF YOU'RE HATING WELL THEN.......THANKS.. YOU ARE MY MOTIVATION...
