Born in the late 70's (August, 1977), I started off life listening to classical, and then progressing to Jazz (I did listen to other genres of music, but they didn't strike me as much only after I was 11, when I just about listened to everything). I do not like to have barriers in music, and I don't think I can put myself into any particular category. If anything, I would consider myself as "experimental", not the kind of experimental like Derek Bailey plays etc, but more of a moulding of different elements from different genres. I just like new sounds. I grew up in Boston, Malaysia, Perth (Australia) as well as other places, so my tastes in music doesn't particularly come from anywhere. I just like sounds, no matter how disorganised or organised they are, whether they carry meaning or not. Maybe it's the frequencies that get to me.
