Gigging Again with Garland Jeffreys
May 25, 2007
1
The great Garland Jeffreys (check out the Martin Scorsese PBS series "The Blues"!) has asked me to join him again for a gig at New York's legendary Tavern On The Green in Central Park on Sat., June 9. Unfortunately, this is a private party and tickets arn't available to the public. If you know your music history, this is the club from which Eddie Duchin did his famous radio broadcasts in the 1940's!

I'll be performing with John Kelly again in our latest version of "Paved Paradise: The Songs Of Joni Mitchell" (created for our run at The Boston Center For The Arts) at Bard College's notorious summer Speigletent (on the campus in Annandale-on Hudson). Due to the amazingly early sell-out (6 weeks in advance!!) of our original 8:30 show this Sat. July 26th a second show has been added for 11:00. (PHEW! What a night's work!). If you would like see us, please go to:

Scroll up top for a description of the spectacular Spiegeltent, scroll
to the date for the scoop on us and down to the bottom for tix info.

hey ty for addin us Zecca!

We're finally back in Los Angeles! I'll be performing with the John Kelly at the (Armand) Hammer Museum's stunning Billy Wilder Theater in our latest Joni Mitchell show "Paved Paradise Redux" on Tues., Jan 6. '09. Sorry, all my comps for this one went really fast (lots of old, oooollldd friends in LA!) so I can't offer y'all any freebies this time. Since the theater only seats 295, I recommend you get tics NOW if you want to get in 'cause we're only slated for one show. Go to: http://hammer.ucla.edu/about/billy_wilder_theater.html We're part of the "Hammer Presents" series, and it seems you can only get tics by calling the box office directly, not on line, but the number is listed there. Go figure... Hope to see ya there! Zecca
