Born October 15, 1983 in Charleston,SC...raised in Hyattsville, MD...Crysis has always been around music. His brother always played the latest music when he was younger back then it was always Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, or Outkast.....just to name a few. When he turned 16 he realized that music meant something to him... more than just entertainment. With a sudden passion to make music at the age of 16 he started to venture into writing songs. At 18 his world took a drastic turn when he lost his mother...since then his passion has gotten stronger but he realized that he wanted to do more than just write. In 2005 while attending Southside Virginia Community College he met his friend Gotbeatz...a local producer with the same ambition and drive that he had. Gotbeatz shared his knowledge with him as for as producing goes and gave Crysis his first start.
In 2006...Crysis enrolled into Virginia Commonwealth University. Since January 2007...he has been making beats and rapping for the group called Streetfam. They released their first album Streetfam Its Official back in August 2007....with most of the production coming from Crysis. In July 2007 he met with a New York artist named G.G. Crysis produced a track for him called "Can't Fight The Feeling" featuring Kenny Wray.... the younger brother of Nicole Wray. As far as future projects go Crysis is working on his solo album "A Crysis State Of Mind", the next Streetfam album....and anything else that so happens to pop up...
