Onzou Records produced Yaya Diallo's first album "Nangape" on vinyl in 1980 followed with a reissue on CD in 2002. Yaya Diallo's album "Live at Club Soda" was recorded in 1989 and released on CD in 2003. YAYA DIALLO, Malian musician, author, music & dance teacher, guide to Mali, and chemist is realizing his vision as founder of "Farafina Donia" - A Survival School for Traditional African Culture in Mali. "Farafina Donia" translates as "African Knowledge." The school's function is to share and transmit African music, dance, traditional medicine and culture. While serving as a model to preserve African traditions for Africans, students from around the world will come to share in the depth, richness, and treasures of African culture.
