Came to New Zealand in 1974 from the UK. Spent most of my time in the great outdoors here-Was a Govt hunter for over ten years-or cullers as they call them here.
Write outdoor themed magazine articles-and do the odd bit of trout fishing guiding for overseas visitors.
Played bass guitar with a band in the UK from about 70-73.

First and formost, I have to thank you for the very very nice words you left at my site today. I was more than touched and I truly mean that. You Know,,, every once in awhile emmotions just catch up to you and a wonderful person comes from out of nowhere when you least expect it and you need it the most. I doubt I can ever explain this but like a miracle, you said what you said and it moved me greatly bringing a tear to my eyes. This is why I'm thanking you...
I have very few friends to share a drink or talk to anymore due to the passing of time and people going on in life and yes, even death.
