I am a traveler, writer and musician who lives in London and works in a primary school where I love to teach. I am very fortunate to be able to spend my days with kids and my fellow teachers while having the opportunity to teach computing, soccer and guitar.
Sound Aid for me is all about giving. I think we live in a world where a whole lot more giving would create a better place! Once I learnt the true facts about hunger in our world, I wanted to do something to help. After getting in contact with the other folks behind Sound Aid, I discovered we all had something in common - music and a passion to give. The gift of music can be a very powerful thing and I think Sound Aid is a unique idea. It allows artists to donate their music which can be downloaded by listeners for a small donation.

18,000 Children Die Each Day Through Hunger.
Sep 18, 2007
United Nations: It is "a terrible indictment of the world in 2007" that 18,000 children die every day because of hunger and malnutrition, and 850 million people go to bed every night with empty stomachs, the head of the UN food agency said on Friday. James Morris called for students and young people, faith-based groups, the business community and governments to join forces in a global movement to alleviate and eliminate hunger - especially among children. "Addressing the hunger issue is the most powerful way to break the poverty cycle," he said in an interview. "We all simply have to do more." "The little girl in Malawi who's fed, and goes to school: 50 per cent less likely to be HIV-positive, 50 per cent less likely to give birth to a low birth weight baby. Everything about her life changes for the better and it's the most important, significant, humanitarian, political, or economic investment the world can make in its future," he said.
