WELCOME 2 MISSISSIPPI, or should i say "DAT SIP SIP" Home state to Yung Kutta, who hails from the uncharted region of Natchez,Ms. With 10+ years in this industry Kutta has garnered both local and nationwide attention for his lyrical prowess and clever strong writing ability. Kutta started what would become his lifelong career in music at the tender age of 8, after being introduced to rapping by a relative from Oakland,CA. After years of sharpening his skills as an emcee(mc) on the local music scene in natchez, Kutta would be given an invitation by Local Legend and aspiring artist "J.T. NORMAN" to join his Newly formed rap group of 5 emcees (4male rappers 1 female) called "I.C.H.O.K.E.
Yung Kutta would accept the invite and become the 6th and defining member of the Rap Group Power House "I.C.H.O.K.E." which was an acronym for I.C.an H.old O.nto K.nowledge E.ternally. After enjoying enormous amounts of regional success which included 2 independent Releases 1997 "Ohh No They Don't Wanna war- and 2001 "Live From Da Trace" The group would soon start to feel the pressures of maintaining success in the music business with a small market and little or no radio accessibility. After turning down an offer from an independent Houston, Tx base label the group would began to go there seperate ways in search of better oppurtunities, but making a pact that the first one to achieve success would comeback for the others, and here we are now years later in Atlanta,GA "the Music Mecca of the south"
Kutta would say "if you ain here you ain nowhere" when pertaining to be an independent rap artist in the South.
and this remains true in an industry thats dominated with the southern sound at this time, kutta feel that this is his chance better than anytime to explode onto the rap scene.

RIGHT NOW he's IN DA STUDIO WITH 1 OF THE HOTTEST IF NOT THE HOTTEST PRODUCERS IN ATL, BY DA NAME OF "ZAYTOVEN" WHO IS ALSO THE PRODUCER OF ALL GUCCI MANE HITS, ALONG WITH YUNG RALPH, SHOP BOYZ, AND OTHERS. WHILE kutta's WORKING WITH ZAY he's ALSO WORKING ON his FIRST SOLO ALBUM TITLED "BOSS MUZIK" SET 2 RELEASE IN LATE APRIL "09". IT WILL BE RELEASED EXCLUSIVELY IN NATCHEZ IN APRIL, FOR FINAL TIMES AND DATES I WILL BE UPDATING THE INFO ON THIS PROFILE.
