Jessica Martin is a 32 yr. old wife, psalmist, poet, activist, and prophetess and CEO of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc (www.pink-society.co.nr ). She has had the opportunity to serve as the praise & worship leader for Bill Winston Ministries at Tuskegee Christian Center for several years. 2004 she received her Biblical Studies diploma and honorary doctorates degree in Sacred Music from the NCI Bible College (School of Preparation). She graduated in 2009, from Troy University Montgomery with a Bachelors of Science - General Psychology with Sociology minor. She currently attends the University of Phoenix where she is working towards a master's in the administration of criminal justice. She is a member of the NAACP and founder of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc. also known as The Pink Society. Her goal is to help bring an awareness of God's love to the community to help prevent pre-marital sex, teen pregnancy, gang activity, and other delinquent behavior. She wants young women to learn how to value and love themselves by helping them to see themselves the way that God sees them. She was a 2010 Montgomery Advertiser King Honors Recipient for the Montgomery Advertiser because of her efforts to keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream alive. She was also awarded a proclamation from the mayor of Shreveport LA, declaring January 22nd Jessica Martin day for their city to celebrate her humanitarian efforts.
