"D~Wats" ....Google Me!!!!!!
D~Wats is one of Houston's most talented and vastly Unheard of Artist!...Spending most of his adult years in California, his spread covers a vast territory. Maybe too vast to have had a concentrated influence on one area. This sprawled expedition also seasons his sound and plagues it to not be readily recognizable from any specific area. Yes, He honed his sound in the streets and cafeterias of SouthWest Houston from Braeswood to Corporate Dr. to Forum Park, BUT... he killed audiences and sharpened his skill set across America from Pensacola, Fl to Chula Vista, Ca.. D~Wats would be what you call a Lyricist Lover's Artist because of his witty wordplay except other's seem to like him also because of how gracefully he seems to "cut through" and glide over beats with is silky flow. Now setup back in his hometown of Houston, Tx, (with his own studio and multimedia and tech company, Mink Media & Watson's Micro respectively). He's pivoting and poised for a flight no one else controls but him... as the pilot. Stay tuned and go listen in!
