This is your boy skinnymoe back again to close the year out. It?s been a very good year, but 2010 is going to be even better. I?m planning to make drastic changes to my hustle so that I can rise high. What I?ve learned this year is that you can change whatever as long as you change your mindset about what it is that you want in life. I?ve also learned that information is a key element to anything that you want to do for yourself, and your business. I?ve posted many blogs over the last couple of years, and I?m hoping to inspire everyone to make a difference with whatever it is that they want to do. I write, and produce my own music. I also manage myself including marketing my music on the web, and soon on the street which I know take time. I?ve managed to do well without a street team. The problem I?ve had is getting my music into the right hands. That?s why in 2010 I?m planning to seek a manager or agent to help me step things up. I?m also planning to get a street team together because I?m ready to step out of my comfort zone with wanting to do everything myself. I will start recording my new album ?Ghost stories? next year. I was suppose to record new music for 2009 to lead into a single to promote the next album, but do to booking studio time it set me back. I?m hoping with many of the new changes for 2010 it will push sales for my first album ?From the shadows?. You can purchase at $0.99 per song or download the entire album for $4.99 on CDBABY.COM. Shooting music videos, and more live performances are apart of my agenda. Cool huh? One thing I take into account is to keep all my listeners/supporters updated, and informed about the music industry. What I?ve learned over the years in this business is information which you can find all over the web is available. It?s just the part of understanding is the problem. In my blogs on MySpace I wanted to make sure that many inspiring musicians, managers, etc. understand what?s going on with all the research I gathered. It?s so very hilarious when many artists in music today leave listeners/supporters so confused about what?s really going on with them and the industry. All the damn jargon which honestly is so boring. Wouldn?t you agree that when you read and listen to many interviews from your favorite artist that sometimes they can bore you to sleep? Hopefully I?m not that way. Lol!!!!! You got to admit one thing for sure is that it?s good to know when someone is on top of their business and really taking the time to talk to their listeners/supporters. Next year is going to put everything I know and love about the music industry to the test. I?m ready to step out of my comfort zone. I really need your support next year as I venture out because as long as I know I have you on my side I can?t lose.
