Hello , I’m currently in the middle of a new project called " Alisa chronicles ". Good time rock & roll inspired by ex-wife no.2.The current arrangements are lush, full and bright. Giving each track lift and presence. But there can be a danger in too much layering because you end up with Queen like choral effect. Which is fine if that’s what you’re going for.My previous release " With A Thrill " was far more sparse and raw since the tracks really did’nt call for lushness or a psuedo Mancinni effect.The track’s were more blues laden and agnst ridden. Though this current project was inspired by divorce and loss it still maintains a sense of humor and plenty major as opposed to minor chordal arrangements.So I’m ending up with a "Would’nt It Be Nice " Brian Wilson effect with a taste of Holland Dozier Holland for the grove end. As long as the song is there, standing on it’s own naked, you need’nt fear padding. Meaning, adding tons of crap to make up for what is’nt there.A solid tune.
